Protected by the outer Ningaloo Reef, the bay’s calm waters make it a perfect spot for swimming, snorkelling, stand-up paddling and kayaking. 

Discover the amazing array of marine life at the world-famous Ningaloo Reef located just off the beach. Spot parrot fish, sea turtles, manta rays, dugongs and even whale sharks! 

Experienced snorkellers can venture out to the deeper waters to look for one of the world’s largest living brain coral, the 3000-year old Ayers Rock. 

The shallow water just off the beach is perfect for little ones to paddle in or for just having a nice lay out in the sun.

Take a stroll to the lookout point at the end of road and be rewarded with beautiful sunset views. 

Bring sturdy sun shade equipment or a rubber mallet to anchor them into the ground as it can get very windy.

Access

Bill’s Bay is within walking distance from most accommodations in Coral Bay. 

It is also easily accessible by 2WD, with a car park right in front of the beach.

Kayaks, stand-up paddle boards and snorkelling equipment can be hired from the Ningaloo Kayak Adventures caravan right on the beach.
