Location is everything at Heathcote: the Applecross park overlooks the Swan River, with heritage buildings and manicured gardens.

The wooden pirate ship is the main play feature of this park, and it is a dream to explore! 

There are portholes to look through, bells to ring, slides, nooks, ramps, caves and tunnels.

There are also swings, slides and a great sand-play area located close to the kiosk, which serves a variety of hot and cold drinks and food. 

Picnic on the grass while the kids play. The shade sails make it nice and cool. 

There are gorgeous open green spaces as well as modern BBQ facilities with stunning views, near the playground.  

Viewing platforms around the park mimic the design of a boat hull, providing views over the majestic Swan River and Perth city in the distance. 

Accessibility

The paths through the playground and surrounding area are pram and wheelchair accessible.

There is a unisex accessible toilet close to the large playground and accessible parking bays are in the carpark near the playground.
