Kadidjiny Park

70 Kitchener Rd, Melville

See directions

Kadidjiny is a fantastic park for primary school aged kids to explore.

Full of geometric shapes and undulations, that seem inspired by the colourful and creative work of Dr Seuss, as well as slides, group swings and climbing nets.

Dotted around this colourful park there are several sand play areas.

There are two big slides that will have adventurous young ones engaged for ages.

In addition to slides and mounds, there are also sculptural musical instruments to enjoy.

There is a great climbing web and a group swing that’s a bunch of fun. Also, logs to test your balance on and plenty of things to climb over, under and through.

Alongside the fenced play area there are several large, open spaces to kick a footy, throw a frisbee or lounge on a picnic blanket.

There are also great BBQ facilities for public use.

And paths for biking, scooting or even rollerblading if you’re a retro kinda kid.

Accessibility

There is wheel chair accessibility with long ramps that wind through the trees from the car park. Paths run through most of the park however there is no wheelchair specific play equipment.
