Cosy Corner
Cosy Corner, Kronkup
438km from Perth
Level: Advanced (limited amentities)
Quintessential WA beachside camping.
Protected by sand dunes and coastal peppermint trees, this campground is simple but a treat for those looking for the Storm Boy experience.
Cosy Corner provides a wide range of water recreation activities, including snorkelling, diving, swimming and fishing.
Do be careful when fishing from rocks as swells can get quite large and wash fishers off the rocks.
In the Area...
Located just south of Cosy corner, Shelly Beach is another gorgeous beach located off the beaten track.
The Shelley Beach lookout boasts picturesque views and is definitely worth a visit if one's in the area. Hang gliding and paragliding are also common sports performed above the beach.
Created by massive, powerful waves crashing onto granite rock and resulting in a sheer drop of almost 25 metres, the Gap in Torndirrup National Park is another attraction not to be missed.
It is accessible via Frenchman Bay Road and has plenty of parking and sealed walking paths in the area.
