Lucky Bay Campground is tucked just behind one of the world’s great beaches. 

With its crunchy, white sand, friendly beach-loving kangaroos, and long stretch of turquoise water, Lucky Bay is the perfect place for families to get out of town and connect with nature.



It is also the perfect launching pad to explore the greater Esperance area and the Cape Le Grand National Park with its string of bays and beaches.




The campsite is basic but has all the amenities you need for your camping adventure. 

NOTE: Bookings are essential.

Don’t forget your fishing, snorkelling gear, and surfing/paddling gear to add some extra adventure to your trip. 

There are great walking trails between bays, so make sure you bring walking shoes.

The Cape Le Grand coastline is a also great place to see whales in winter and early spring!


In the Area...



Don’t miss Thistle Cove (2km away) and Hellfire Bay (6km). For a great family beach that is perfect for snorkelling etc., visit Twilight Beach (10km out of Esperance township).

Safety

Beach driving can be treacherous. Avoid beaches and sand tracks unless you are in a 4WD, are experienced, and have recovery gear with you.

The Esperance coastline is beautiful and wild. Always have the safety of you and your family at front of mind.


Access



Cape Le Grand National Park is accessible by sealed road, so there's no need for a 4WD unless you plan on exploring designated 4WD tracks. There is a fee upon entry to the National Park.
