Located within the stunning Beelu National Park, the Perth Hills Discovery Centre is a peaceful spot to pitch a tent and get to know the local wildlife.

The campsite has room for 12 tents, and you’ll also find some enticing extras at this location.

The facilities here are ideal for beginner campers (and a luxury for those used to roughing it!), including hot showers, toilets, and an undercover camp kitchen complete with a fridge, power points and electric BBQs. 

If you’re visiting on a weekday, drop by the centre (open 10am-4pm Mon.-Fri.) to pick up some handy tips on what the area offers, or browse the range of maps and guides, souvenirs and refreshments.

Perth Hills Discovery Centre

The centre is home to Nearer to Nature, which provides schools and the broader community with educational, interactive activities that are designed to enhance your nature experience. 

Book in for a  program to learn more about the local flora and fauna in a fun, interactive way.

Across the road from the the campsite is the Kookaburra Outdoor Cinema, showing films under the stars throughout the warmer months of November to April. 


Perth Hills Discovery Centre

Bring your bike or your walking shoes because the Shire of Mundaring offers some of the State's top trails experiences, including the Railway Reserves Heritage Trail, Munda Biddi Trail, Bibbulmun Track, Eagle's View Walk, Kep Track and Golden Pipeline Heritage Trail.
